Leoma update 11/23

Post by JD-MDR »

Hi everyone. Ive been getting a lot done. Installed Isotherm 2050 SP refer system. All but the thru hull. I plan to haul out at Ensenada Mexico next month. I put another coat of poly paint on the deck and cabin. I might let the boatyard paint the topsides up to the toerail. Not sure yet. I think Ill depart 12/15. And cruise locally around Ensenada till they are ready at the yard. There are some coves to anchor 50-60 mi south. I can check out the cove at isle Todo Santo. I heard that a fish operation takes up all the space and its not a very good place to anchor
I’ll show the refer install soon

You’re going to love that reefer once the install is complete. There’s nothing quite like never having to scrounge up block ice again.
Did you increased your battery bank or have you added solar? I added one additional battery and I have a small solar panel to offset the increase in power consumption. I’m not fully independent with sufficient solar but I really don’t want to add additional panels at this time.

Hi Jim. Thanks for the response. I got two Interstate AGM 27 on the house bank. I still have the wet 24 on the starter. I have a 50 watt solar panal but its not mounted. I dont use it much. I probably will on long cruises
