After 7 years of fun and work I'm selling my CD28, Kingfisher--1979 hull number 238. Price is $20,000. Well cared for, updated and repaired by myself and those who owned her before me, the boat had stem head redone, Lewmar hatch installed, new marinized Kubota diesel engine and fuel tank installed ('03) new Doyle and UK sails ('15-'23), exhaust system replaced ('16), chainplates replaced with external bronze ('21) hull ground, epoxied and barrier coated ('21), standing rigging and running rigging replaced ('16-'21), cutlass bearing and dripless shaft seal replaced ('19) thru hulls and seacocks replaced with new Spartans ('16-'21) new solid teak bowsprit ('21), new Schaefer roller furler ('21). These are just the headlines. Original gel coat and bright work have been continuosly and meticulously maintained. Electronics have been updated and cushions have been cared for, recovered and replaced.
Its on the hard 25 miles north of NYC on the Hudson River in Haverstraw Bay at the moment. Summers on the Hudson a few miles south in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
