Good luck. I keep my eye out for a 24' as well. There were only 17 made. There was one for sale recently on Cape Cod and it got swooped up by a buyer, sight unseen, no survey, full price, cash.

Re: CD24
Honestly, that's how I bought my CD28 Cruiser. I happened to be the first person who called. I paid full asking price in cash. But I'm not stupid. I gave a 10% deposit with the remainder due upon a successful survey, which she passed with flying colors. In this market, if you find the right boat, you need to be prepared to act fast.

early spring will be a hot market. at mid to end of summer get the bargains. i still maintain that you make an offer less than asking price. my offer was a lot less. it worked for me. might work for you as well.

Only took 9 months, but I am now curator of “ACADIA”, CD24T #007, built 1984, in impeccable condition. Excited to get her afloat.
