Thursday, July 13th, longtime CDSOA member and good friend Rich Abato lost his battle with cancer and sailed off into the eternal sunset. He and his wife Melissa were members of the Northeast Fleet and sailed aboard their CD36 Mahalo attending many CDSOA gatherings both on and off the water. Rich was a frequent contributor (bottomscraper) to this board as well as a moderator for the Cape Dory Fans Facebook group. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
