Rigging Only

Post by s2sailorlis »

On the past i've read good things about rigging only in Fairhaven. I'm looking into a new Forestay and Furler and their prices seem quite reasonable. Anyone purcahse from them recently? Do they have a "storefront?". i might be in the area early spring so would order ahead and pick the stuff up.

Yes they have a brick and mortar business, actually stone and mortar. It’s great to stop by and speak to Danny who will be happy to show you the options and fittings. He has a vast amount of experience as a rigger.

It's been a few years but all my dealings with them have been very positive, 2 Profurl furlers, all standing rigging Tides Marine Strong Track and lifelines. They were helpful with advice and knowledgeable about their products.

Yes, concur. I just received a couple of weeks ago a complete replacement for my standing rigging, including
new turnbuckles. Everything looks great. Be careful with communication, though. I asked for the cap shrouds
to be an inch longer and they wrote on the order form to make them an inch shorter. Luckily, I caught that.

A little late and will just agree with others. I purchased all new standing rigging from them back in March of this year, 2022, everything was top notch from service to shipping!

I exchanged email with Danny, Very helpful and their pricing is good. For various reasons I’ve opted to wait another year before replacing furler, but I’ll purchase from them when ready.
