Traveler for CD 30 MK ll

Post by Steve O »

Hi

We would like to upgrade our main sheet traveler on our recently acquired 1989 CD MKll. Also considering leading main halyard back to cockpit with a winch installed on starboard cabin top.

Any suggestions for hardware, experiences or thoughts on this would be appreciated Thank you

Garhaeuer made the new traveler for our 27. Here is a link:https://www.garhauermarine.com/product- ... avelers-1/

They made the suggestion that rather than trying to match the old hole spacing I should fill all of the old holes and space the new holes in between the old locations.

Looks like almost everything on these boats were well made. Reason for upgrade would be to control traveler from cockpit.

Thanks
