Looking for a CD 25 or CD 27
I am looking for boats which have been well cared for by their owner. I have owned both boats in the past, cruising extensively in the CD 27 (plus living aboard for many years). On the 25, I prefer the later model with opening ports.

I actually bought another Cape Dory 33, and have been more focused on that this year than the CD27.
I bought the 27 from a guy who hadn't touched it in 4 years, cleaned it up and its in a good condition. The engine had issues but I've since rebuilt the head and it works like a charm. I've been gradually replacing running rigging (blocks, lines). Have also added some electronics (speed, depth, wind). Its a neat little boat but I just don't have time for a fleet of sailboats. My next project was sewing a new dodger as the current one is on its last limbs.
