Hi all
Does anyone know the model numbers of the fresh water pumps in the galley and head (CD 25D). The galley pump is a Whale, and after looking in the catalog I didn't see anything like it. I need to rebuild them.
Thanks
Bill

Re: Galley/Head H2O Pumps
Take a look at the galley picture of the CD25D at http://members.aol.com/darenius/CD25D/CD25D.HTML Just button on the site listed below. Is this your pump? It is identical to the CD26.
It is not renewable. The rubber plunger cup is not removable from the pump shaft. The pump is available from M+E Marine for about $35. It is the only supplier (other than directly from the manufacturer that I have found.

Re: Galley/Head H2O Pumps
Thanks for responding Dana
The pump pictured in your web page is identical to the one in my head. I think if I have to spend money, I'll get one that is repairable! The one in the galley is a Whale pump, so surily it is repairable.
Thanks again

Re: Galley/Head H2O Pumps
Bill,
What catalog are you referring to? My 25D also needs a new pump in the forward sink and I was trying to find a match. Every one I've seen so far requires drilling a bigger diameter hole in the sink top to attach it.
Thanks,
Gary

It's a PAR "Topsider" galley/lavatory hand pump. Counter mount.
M+E Order #03150
PAR Model NO. 37220-0010
Page 147, ,1997 Full Gear Catalog #153 approx. $39

They have a full catalog of marine equipment like West Marine, etc. I like them because they carry many things not carried by other discount stores like SPARTAN WINCH BASES in bronze, etc. If you call, don't forget to ask for the catalog.

Gary
Thanks for the information (two fold).
1st, I had and lost the number to M&E Marine long ago. It seems they have a "mast shoe" that fits the current 25D mast shoe that allows you to mount blocks for halyards, downhauls, topping lifts, etc. I ordered the catalog in November, have called a couple of times since, and have yet to get the catalog. BTW I also lost the telephone number!!!
2nd, glad to know where to get the pump!! But wouldn't it be better to get a pump that was repairable?
