Mine's a Schaefer strap tang.
It measures 3 1/4 X 1, and I don't see that particular dimension in Schaefer's current catalogue. They have a 3" X 3/4" (#85-23) and a 4" X 1" (#85-01). They're 300 stainless 1/16 thick with holes punched in both ends. West Marine may stock or could order. Also see www.schaefermarine.com for more info.
