Holding tank dip tube
Our holding tank has a 1 1/2" ID reinforced dip tube with an 1 11/16 OD I am having no luck finding a replacement. I could install an access port to the top of the tank thus making the OD a non-factor but I'm stubborn... to a point. The original hose allows just enough clearance for the hose to pass through threaded fitting. It would be so nice to get this crossed off my list.

Jack,
From your post, I'm not quite sure what the issue is, but you may want to look at using 1-1/4 schedule 40 pvc. It has an ID of 1-1/4 and an OD of 1-11/16. I have the same dip tube set up on Blue Note although I have never has to replace it. 1-1/4 ID shouldn't be a problem given the application.

I went down to the boat this evening. The fitting is 1 1/2" but the hose (which I didn't measure earlier) is actually 1 3/8 ID and then stretched over the 1 1/2 " fitting.

Re: Holding tank dip tube
I may have misunderstood your earlier post. It sounds as though your dip tube is reinforced hose..? The two CD 36s which I have refitted (early-mid 80s) both had rigid pvc dip tubes extending to within about 1-2 inches of the bottom of the holding tank. They attached to a PVC elbow fitting on the exterior top of the tank and connected to 1-1/2 hose for discharge. The fitting through the top of tank is well sealed eliminating odors. You may want to think about constructing this rigid arrangement with 1-1/4 or 1-1/2" rigid pvc.

Job complete. I used 1 1/4” white sanitation hose. I used a dremel tool to enlarge it to 1 3/8 , applied some Dow RTV forced the hose over the nipple. All
Is well on hull #9. So glad to have this behind me and the Vberth back together.
