Found a second hand 13x12 LH Michigan sailor prop for a steal on eBay. I know Campbell sailer suggested 13x8 but I could t find any with that low of a pitch second hand. I’m a little worried about the higher pitch in relation to its long term effect on the transmission. Anyone have any insight to if running a higher pitch would cause issues?

I think a 13x12 3-blade would work based on what I’ve found others to have, but I’m completely speculating. You won’t really know until you install it and see how it performs with your engine. It can be repitched though, if you find it’s too aggressive. Good find on eBay. I just spent a small fortune on getting a new prop, shaft, and coupler.
I’ll post back here once I have it put together and tested. 13LH8.5 Campbell Sailer
