Cape Dory 25D, "Rascal" is for sale

1982 Hull #97, Rascal, is for sale. She has had only 3 owners, and she is in very good condition, and sea kindly, but we just don't sail her enough. She is on her mooring in Newport, RI.
Recent improvements include new head stay and CDI Flexible Furler roller furling in 2018. New marine head in 2020. Her sails are 6 years old and are still crisp. She has a rebuilt Yanmar 1GM diesel, and wheel steering. She comes with a Fairclogh winter cover, a rail-mounted gas grill, a 25lb plow anchor, a life ring, fire extinguisher, horn and flairs, a steering pedestal-mounted compas, bulkhead-mounted speedometer and depth sounder, all Spartan bronze opening ports,2 screens for ports, one screen for companionway, cockpit cushions and newer cushions in the cabin. She has pressurized water in the head, a shower, and a hand pump in the galley.
She has been wonderful boat to sail and we have enjoyed her immensely, but age and available time dictate it's time for her to find a new sailing companion.
