CD25D mainsheet block/traveller

Post by abcnuzeman »

I broke the mainsheet block/traveller combination on my CD 25D today. Anyone know what the part number might be for that? Who manufactures original equipment or similar part. Just started my season and hate to miss too much looking for this part. One of the sheaves in the block is partially broken...can't find exactly what I'm looking for to replace what is there currently, but I've found a fiddle block with cam cleat. Not sure I've found one mounted on a traveler car with a spring and turning blocks. May have to improvise.

'Original' parts may be a problem.
Exactly what is broken? Sheaves, traveler car, pins, pulleys, track.............

Many workarounds available, ... photo helpful for informational purposes.

However, at the age these boats are, more modern options are available.. but check E-bay if you want 'original'.

If it is the same brand as the 30, something like Fico or Falco. RigRite has a few parts for some of them. You have to call them on the phone, you won't have much luck any other way. We changed ours over to Harken last year. We caught the Spring sale at defender. Dee

Does it look like the above?

You can have for the shipping if it will work. I can get some measurements.
