I even tried to give the parts away for a year before I put them in the scrap bin. I don't believe there are a lot of these engines around anymore. You have gotten the same response that I did.

I would be interested in the starter and alternator

Hi Mark,

I just remembered (uncovered them in the basement) that I have a second alternator and starter but both need repair. The alternator works but started putting out 17V so I think it needs a new voltage regulator. The starter also works but the bendex drive would sometimes stick and not return causing it to stay engaged with the flywheel. So I believe it needs a new bendex drive. They are both yours for free if you want them. You would of course have to pay for shipping or pick them up. Not sure where you are located but as a benchmark I shipped similar size and weight to NJ and FL they were $30 and $50 respectively.
