2021 Dues?

Post by Capt Hook »

I remember a post about 2020 dues and I remembeer getting a check for a refund.

I think I'm supposed to pay 2021 dues but I can't remember the amount and who it should be sent to.

Please advise.

Can we still do a multi year payment or is that going to mess up the books?

Best deal on dues ever, Steve.

The Northeast Fleet does not have a multi year membership plan at this time. We only have a $25/year plan. As treasurer/membership chairman, it would be absolutely wonderful to have all of the renewals completed by the end of December, 2020.

I can’t believe I’m asking this...can I join the NE Fleet? The NC fleet seems dead. With the exception of JDM and a few folks in FL or Gulf Coast most people I interact with are in the NE fleet.

You have no idea how hard that was to ask.....

LOL!

2020 was a bust for most of us in the northeast. Hopefully 2021 will be much better and we’ll actually be able to have a get-together or two. In the meantime, welcome aboard.

Have you been in touch with Carolinas Fleet Captain Lou Ostendorff?

Happy holidays,

Yes. Couple years ago I went to a social event with the Carolina Fleet. It was OK. But I never correspond with any of the Carolina Fleet members. Most of their sailing is on the Neuse River or Pamlico Sound, which is fine water, but it’s not where my heart is. I’m an open water sailor. I probably should have joined the Carolina fleet, but I joined the fleet which is the birthplace of my boat. Just feels right to me. Let’s see how it goes. I can always try out for the local team in the future. They might take me...I dono. I’m thinking a New England cruise the summer. Maybe up to Maine. Let’s see what happens.

My passport is good to go. So I should be OK for a voyage to New England.
