Capr Dory 28' Mast Replacement

Hi I'm new to all this technology websites and all but saw your posts about masts and would like to contact Jim Walsh or anyone who can help find a mast for a cape dory 28 somewhere in the northeast.

The mast damaged while on the hard. The mast was completely bent in two places. Do you have any experience sourcing a new mast? The current mast is 34’7” at this point we are considering all options. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I know there was a Cape Dory 28 that was salvaged maybe 2-3 seasons ago. Talk to Jon and let them know that Victor sent you.

I bought a Typhoon mast from Dwyer last year. Good service from them, but depending on where you're located the shipping can be quite expensive.

Hi,

I heard you talked to Jon this week and I know he has to measure the mast for you. I think Jon said he doesn't remember if the CD was a 27 or 28. Being a Cape Dory owner I am 99.9% sure that boat was a CD 28. If you do not hear from Jon by tomorrow, you should follow up before they get busy with hauling out boats.
