For sale: 316 SS side mount, rotating arm, outboard engine bracket. Built by Yves Gelanas of Cape Horn Marine Product in 2015 for my CD 36 Far Reach. I used this bracket to employ a 110 lb 9.9 hp extra long shaft outboard engine to power my 17,500 lb CD 36. Very strong, reliable, and simple to operate. Made two offshore passages of over 1,400 miles without issue. Very secure. Has the advantage of allowing the outboard to be used to maneuver a full keel boat with great control. Bracket can be easily and quickly removed via three bolts. Contact me for more pictures, etc. $1,500

The outboard bracket was sold to of all people and organization...Practical Sailor. They reached out to me asking if I would sell it. They saw it as a perfect solution to test outboards and trolling g motors off their Yankee 30. I am very happy to see it go to such a useful organization. I have been a PA subscriber for 25 years.
