Chesapeake boating is open
Nice coincidence that I was able to launch my rehabbed Typhoon on the same day as boating was opened on the Chesapeake. This little boat had been sitting neglected out of the water for ten years until I bought her last October and I swear she was singing when we took her over to the slip in the marina!

Very nice. My crystal ball tells me you and "she" will have adventures in store. Good luck - Jean

What a pretty little boat you have there.
When you are sailing her, make sure to use the jib winches instead of going straight to the cleat. Not using the winch is likely to crack the combing board.
You must be so happy right now, Steve.

Thanks for the tip. The sheets are just on the cleats while the Genoa is furled. Haven’t tried the sails yet. Hopefully get out this week.

Great looking Ty. And good on you for giving an old boat a new lease in life. Congrats. And happy sailing.
