Hands Free VHF Holder

My hearing has slipped a bit (aging is the culprit, probably) and if the radio isn't near my head, it's
difficult to discern some of the fast talking commercial traffic above wind and engine noise.
So I'm going to try this home made holder to hear the fishing boats and to call ahead for a mooring.
It's mostly scrap teak and some 3/32" SS sheet. - Jean
