A seemingly simple query that I'm sure the wise members of the board will provide a quick response on. Where can one find an exact match for a replacement cowl vent? The ones on my deck are 9 inches tall and don't have any brand name on them while the Nicro vents available at West Marine seem much thinner, more flexible and are either 8 or 10 inches.

The cowl vents on the taffrail of Hanalei are Nicro small vents. The one on the dorade box to the head vent is a larger Nicro vent. Hanalei is a 1984 CD-30. It is possible that CD changed brands by 1990, but I don't know to what manufacturer. Sorry couldn't be of more help....
