It's most actually snowing here today. This was last February. We don't haul out in the winter because there are too many nice days to be out on the water. We had record snow that month and I had to remove snow a few times.

Very “cool” picture. I spent a month on Vancouver island Aug 2018 splicing rigging for a friend of mine. First time I had ever been there. What a fantastic place. Just gorgeous. My splicing vise was set up on a work bench under the porch deck of their house overlooking Satellite Channel. One day, I looked up while splicing 3/8” wire rigging and a pod of killer whales was swimming past. I loved everyday I was there. I can see why people like living there. Well...at least during August! LOL.

I'm originally from Portland Oregon. We moved around a lot until I retired about 3years ago in Phoenix Arizona. The Pacific Northwest has always been home, so we moved here because it's close to the water. July is usually the best sailing time since its shouldered be Junuary and fogust.
