2019 CDSOA ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
2019 CDSOA Annual General Membership Meeting
The 2019 Cape Dory Sailboat Owners Association's Annual Meeting will be held the weekend of 25-26 October 2019 at the Cottage Park Yacht Club, Winthrop, MA.
This year it's the Northeast Fleet's turn to host this annual event! The Cottage Park Yacht Club is a great venue for our meeting. It's located on the entrance to Boston Harbor directly across from the Boston City Skyline. Less than 5 miles from Logan International Airport, it's very convenient for members flying in from our other fleets. This year's schedule, includes the Annual Membership Meeting, but also features Brunch and Dinner, a speaker and a field trip to Historic Boston for sightseeing. It's a great opportunity meet up with fellow CDSOA members and for a Fall visit Boston with old and new friends!

Re: 2019 CDSOA ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Looking forward to it and Boston is a great choice.
I just finished ready "the British are Coming" by Rick Atkinson about the first two years of the American Revolution. It's got some great writing about the costal geography of Boston harbor and the challenges it presented to Britain and to the colonials. It's a good read to those who want to bone up in their American history before coming to Boston.

Well it's October 1.... but if you still haven't registered there's still time! Just click on the link http://http://www.capedory.org/genevents.html and mail in your registration or send Doug Jesseman or me an email with your registration info.
Bob Dugan will be our guest speaker this year. He'll be telling us about Cruising the Canadian Maritimes.... After a year of preparation, the crew of s/v Emerald set out for a five-week adventure in the Canadian Maritimes with stops in Nova Scotia, St. Pierre - France, Newfoundland, and fabled Sable Island. Good friends, wonder, joy, fatigue, doubt, and a sprinkle of panic provided ingredients for a great sailing adventure.
Bob has been cruising the waters of New England and the Canadian Maritimes for twenty years with his wife, Becky, son Ben, and reluctant dog Belle. He also helps Cathy Monaghan run the Cape Dory website and used to own "Cricket" a Cape Dory 25D, and now owns the only Cape Dory 34 ever made (actually a Pacific Seacraft 34).
So get those registrations in, it's sure to be a great time ..... looking forward to seeing you soon!
All the best
