"Leoma" at Santa Barbara Island
Looks like the Park service has abandoned. Their flag is flying but no one is there. They removed the ladder from their dock so I couldn't get ashore. I motored the dingy almost all the way around the island and no beach. It's only 1 sq. mi. It's about 50 mi from the mainland.. Another sail boat showed up . They were able to climb up the structure and pull their kayaks up . I didn't want to do that with my inflatable. I spent the night on anchor. The weather was flat calm till I got almost back to Santa Cruz Island . It was a nice trip but too much motoring. I am tempted to get the Jefa Auto pilot on credit card. It's $3000. It's too hard hand steering for that long. The wind vane seems like it will only be good when the winds are consistent.
