Thanks Roberto! Not too worried just yet... forecasts lately have been *very* incorrect...

I want to pass along a good source of weather info for Florida, in fact South East Coast and northward too. Check out Mike's Weather Page on Facebook. It's sometimes silly (his reporting from the flooded infield of Daytona International Speedway last weekend was priceless for instance) but he is keen observer of tropical weather developments, modeling, storm tracks etc. Though nothing official about it, always worth a look. Again its simply: Mike's Weather Page.

Best!

This is the web link to Mike's Weather:

https://spaghettimodels.com/

It's actually a good compilation of various weather sites. In the upper left hand corner there is a list of hurricane weather models that provide various projections of the path, strength, etc. of tropical storms, hurricanes, etc. i used it last year for Hurricane Florence (NC) and Irma (Florida Keys) in 2017.

I am not sure why the website is called "Spaghetti Models". As an Italian I am not sure whether to be honored or angry.  :D :D

This "minor" weather system over northern Georgia evolved into Hurricane Barry that hit Louisiana today :!: :!: :!: Me thinks it's gonna be a strange, bad "H" season. :( :( :(

Anyone have any reports from our brothers and sisters in the path of Barry :?: I know "Captain Hook" has a Cape Dory 31 in that area. Anyone else :?:

Got an email from Captain Hook. His CD 31 is probably OK. TS winds only apparently. Good news. Flooded streets, etc. may delay access to his marina.
