Are CD 25 bulkheads structural?

Are CD 25 bulkheads structural?
I just purchased a CD 25. The bulkheads have delaminated and rotten spots. I need to replace them but would like to make some minor modifications. Does anyone know if the bulkheads are structural?

I believe they are what supports the deck and mast, so yes they are structual.

Totally different boat, but I replaced both my bulkheads and installed a new oak compression post this winter with the mast down. With the mast down, there is essentially no load on the bulkheads. Use the old ones as a pattern for the new ones. I always hated the fake teak bulkheads on my former CD25. This will let you install what you like. It's not a difficult project.

Thanks for the comments.

When you replace them, I would recommend painting them white with wood trim:
