In an instance of complete stupidity I managed to rig the mast such that I reversed the lower aft/rear spreaders on both sides...(the Yard stepped my mast after I rigged it). But I wasn’t there when it was stepped...
I know folks will go up the mast of larger boats but wondered if I could go up the mast of a CD22? A friend has gone up the mast of his 20 footer by lashing a folding ladder against his mast. Not sure I like that idea.
Not wanting to drop the mast again in order to fix..,to many issues scheduling folks to help in that effort

Trust me. We have all done stupid things on our boats. That might make for an amusing new topic. This sounds like a job for a guy in a bosun's chair lifted by a crane. It should be a 20-minute job, if you can schedule it with the yard. I wouldn't want to go up the mast on a CD22. If you go the ladder route, please capture it on video!

I've been up the mast on a Morgan 22 when I was 45 years younger and 20 pounds lighter and there was no problem until someone stepped on or off the toe rail. I'm not familiar with the rig of a CD 22 and don't understand what a lower aft/rear spreader is but I don't think I'd want to be up the mast messing around with reversing spreaders.

Own a 25D---- don't think your spreaders are taller than mine.
16' expandable ladder, properly supported by plywood base at the forward mast-step, and tied off to the mast for security, will take you to the crosstrees easily-- and you should be able to easily remove the bolts holding the crosstrees, moving them to the correct position. re-tighten the bolts, and then re-tighten the inner shrouds............If I misunderstood your post, and you actually have Crossed the Aft Lower Spreaders, the Fix is the same. Just loosen all lower shrouds, and then make the change (Port to Stbd, vice-versa, and all should be well.... Might want to check the outer shrouds, just as a precaution.
Pretty much a no-brainer, AFTER it's all done.
Good luck. And if I'm any example, not an uncommon happenstance................everything looks so easy when the mast is on the hard.

The mast will stay vertical w/the lower shrouds loosened/removed.
Loosen both lower shrouds (you could do one/both sides at a time)
Ladder will still get you to spreader level, where you can disconnect the loosened shrouds and re-orient and reattach them.
Re-attach lower shrouds and tighten.
Done.
and, yeah, I shoulda caught the 'spreader' thought in my previous post.
It appears Mr Daniels was playing w/my imagination.

Job complete. Speakers are 12 feet off the deck. Had a 12 foot folding ladder that seemed to only go about 9 feet high.. and a friend who went up. I had to go up myself after as the starboard shrouds we’re still reversed. Wasn’t too bad. Worse part trying to put rings back on. Ladder strapped down tight.
Now to mount the winch so I can actually go sailing...
