Does anyone know the dimensions of the V berth in the CD22 and CD25? Also where is the head on the 22? Are these boats better sailors(up wind or overall speed) than a com-pac 23? Please help with any other info! I,m just looking in Texas.
Thanks, Dyke

I believe there is a removable cushion section which covers the head area when not in use. I have added a quick link to the pictures of the CD22 below.Dyke Easterday wrote: There is a head mounting platform under the forward vee berth. Yes I can see it. Thanks...I'm 6 foot tall... Is the vee berth long enough for good sleeping ?Dana wrote:I believe there is a removable cushion section which covers the head area when not in use. I'm 5'11" and have crawled into both the 22 and the 25 forward vee berths at boat shows. I'm going to get a rebutal, I know....but at 6', I think you will be more comfortable in the quarter berths. In the 25D it's no issue, there is no forward vee berth.

Ok here is my two cents....
I'm 6'4"... I have a CD25... I am pretty comfortable in the starboard side quarter berth, but I prefer the V-Berth... If I stick my head forward. and let my feet hang over (like any mattress I sleep on), then I sleep great. The only problem with the quarter berths is that they are narrow...
