spacing between ports on CD27

Post by bevans »

There is a one inch difference in the spacing between the salon ports on my CD27. One side is 27 inches apart and the other is 28 inches. Why the difference? It isn't noticeable until you measure.

I'll try to remember to measure mine when I get to the boat early next week. Boat new to me so I don't know a reason.

The jib winches on Raven are not even. I never noticed this until I started to work on my dodger. I suspect that there are a lot or details like that on our boats that just don't matter. These boats were built by hand and not produced by a robot in cookie cutter fashion. Consider it a tribute to the humans that built our boats, Steve.
