MY Hurth HBW 50 is completely ruined. I am told that even the housing is useless. There is not sufficient room in my engine compartment to accommodate the ZF 12M which replaces the HBW 50. So I am really starting to panic. I cannot find an HBW 50 to rebuild anywhere. Does anyone have a suggestion for getting out of this mess?

I think I have an HBW50 that needs rebuilding. I upgraded to a ZF10M when the 50 failed. It looks brand new and is filled with ATF. I’ll confirm the model number and send a picture if you’re interested.
