I'm repairing the bottom of our 1976 CD25 from the effects of micro blistering. Additionally I noticed some delamination at the leading edge of the rudder. To remove the rudder I had to disconnect the bronze rudder shoe located at the aft end of the keel. This was incased in epoxy and glass.
There were three copper, of bronze pins that help secure the shoe to the keel. All three pins need replacing as there are worn and bent.
My question is where do I find replacements?
Has anyone else experienced this?

CD 25 Rudder pins

Re: CD 25 Rudder pins
The pins are bronze (should be alloy 655 silicon bronze), and are press-fit into the rudder shoe and then ground flush. If you cannot find a source locally, I can supply replacements; please email with diameter and length of the old pins.

i had to pull my rudder this year because the pin in the gudgeon (or is it the pin in the pintle) loosened - anyway, i am using bronze bolts to put the shoe back on the keel - the person who fixed the shoe gudgeon/pintle for me supplied the bolts but i think they are fairly readily available (? spartan marine perhaps)
