I got replacements from Rig-Rite. They have a lot of Cape Dory stuff.

You may want to read some of the posts on various threads on this board concerning dealing with Rig Rite. It is, from the posts, apparently not as customer service friendly as you might hope for.

After I figured out their website. I found them very proficient. It just took me a while cuz I'm not very experienced with the computer. And Like other members have pointed out we need to support those companies that stock or fabricate The original Cape Dory parts.

Tim Lackey recommended Garhauer for stanchions to me. I looked at them on-line. 316 and a good price.

What I liked about Rig-Rite is I got the exact replacement stanchion with the grey plug in the top and the holes were exactly the same for the line with some kind of insert ,rounding off the edge, even the tapped set screw hole was perfect. I also got the exact replacement mast step for my Mizzen and the pedestal and end piece for my club boom
