LET THERE BE LIGHT

Don't forget to snap some photos while you work on that boat project, then share them here.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

Post by John Stone »

And, so there is. The Far Reach now has 12v LED lights. Alpenglow under cabinet light and three bunk lights. It's a small concessions to the 20th Century. We plan to continue to lean on our kerosene lamps for most of our general lighting--love 'em. The LEDs are mostly for reading...except the light for the galley which was the primary impetus for the project in the first place. So I keep asking myself how did I end up with bunk lights too?

We still have a project list to complete but it's pretty straight forward at this point. Next up, teak winch bases for the new Lewmar ST 46s and a new set of teak dorade boxes.

Let's get to. Need to start sailing soon as possible.

Very nice, John. Now your family and guests can see and read better and also see some fine boat carpentry in a new
light too!. Jean
