cabin rugs?

Post by frankfurder »

Anyone know where I can order a cabin rug for my 25d? I think it can be no more than 15" wide so as not to ride up the sides.

Measure up what you need, go to a carpet store and pickout the material and ask them to bind it. Then fasten some non-slip to the bottom.

Runners come in a variety of sizes that will fit any cabin. Sources: carpet stores, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, Wayfair.

I use two smaller sizes because the cabin floor is a little offset.

We use a regular non-slip latex-backed scatter rug at the bottom of the companionway ladder that I purchased from Home Depot. So far it has worked well and stays put even when the boat is heeled way over. It has a very low pile so we don't trip over it. It was cheap, so when it loses its grip, I'll just buy a new one.
