It seems like I just purchased Gabrielle yesterday. Spent far too much time fussing with an exhaust stack and not enough time sailing. But she's in better shape now than when I purchased her, and she's helped bridge some wounds with my old man. We got in one last great sail this weekend before getting her ready to be on the hard until July 1.
The best part for me was seeing what she could in lighter winds. Sure, she rips when it's blowing, but with 6-8 kts, we were doing an amazingly calm 3.5-4 kts. Lovely end to the season.
Thanks to everyone who answered questions both when I was boat shopping and as I worked through my first months as an owner. Here's my dad at the helm while I soaked in the view from the bow. Cheers!
