Bill Papian, a long time member of the Chesapeake Fleet has crossed the bar.
Captain Bill and his wife, "the Admiral" Laverne sailed Eventide their CD MS30 with us on many cruises. When we needed a tow, they were always ready and able to assist. He was a wise and knowledgeable man, who will be missed.

Re: Sad news--Bill Papian
Bill Papain always had a smile for everyone. It was a pleasure to cruise with him and Laverne on the Chesapeake Bay. He was always so eager to help his fellow sailors, especially when we would run aground, which we managed to do frequently. He was the kind off man everyone should get to meet once in their lifetime.
There is a hole in the sailing world tonight.
Fair winds Bill.
You are missed.
