Re: Cape Dory 10*, 25, and 30 for sale
Update on this post:
The dinghy I originally listed as a CD 10 turns out to be a Cape Cod dinghy that's actually 9.5 feet in length and is no longer being built. You can find it on their website: http://www.capecodshipbuilding.com listed as an MK dinghy (designed by The Navy). I apologize for the mistake and thank those who challenged the accuracy of the listing. My quest for the truth led through Dyer until someone emailed me with the Cape Cod connection. I can only summize that the donor of the boat to Sea-Legs remembered the "Cape" and just filled in the rest--innocently, I'm sure.
But the truth makes me no less admiring of this craft. Very nice things are said about it at Cape Cod's website.

Per the Cape Cod Shipbuilding website the MK dinghy's LOA is listed as both 9'1/2" and 9' 1-1/2". A few inches may make a big difference to a prospective buyer.

I have one of the Cape Cod Shipbuilding dinghies and absolutely love it. i have dragged it all over southern new england behind my CD27 and I am not exaggerating that I have only had to bail out 1 or 2 cups of water after a day of sailing ( not counting rain)

I'll try to clarify the loa of this boat as soon as I can actually measure it. Stay tuned.
