Cape Dory 28 for sale in Annapolis, MD - $11,500
We have owned the boat for 17 years, being only the third owner. On our maiden voyage we sailed her down the NJ coast from South Amboy to the Chesapeake Bay, where she has been since. She has been lovingly maintained (e.g., all original laminate "woodwork" in main cabin replaced with teak joinery) and is only for sale because I can no longer give her the care she deserves. She has many more years of sailing left, as those familiar with Cape Dory will know. She is listed below other CDs in comparable condition because the hull needs painting from toe rail to waterline.

Wayne, what brand of paint did you use on the bulkhead in the head? I am planning on doing both sides on my 1975 CD-28. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sorry for the delay in answering; been busy showing the boat! I used Interlux Brightsides Polyurethane. Sort of overkill for interior surfaces, but it did a nice job. Since I was covering the original dark fake teak laminate, I first used the Interlux Pre-Kote Primer, two coats, I think.
