Over the winter I built a replacement bulkhead and resized the openings, and replaced the electrical panel.
Moved the battery switch and engine controls to a more convenient place. Added a box with gauges and lights to where I can easily see them under power.
The cockpit gets paralleled preheat, start, and stop pushbuttons.
The goal was to get the commonly needed cockpit items where one can reach them from outside, and to no longer stoop down to check oil pressure and temp every 10 min.
Turned out 98% awesome, and the upside is that I'm done playing with the panel... This year.
