Hi! I am so glad to be here! In April, I picked a little Dory from my dad's brokerage to teach my children to sail. She was in spectacular shape, though unsailed for 4 years! We cleaned her up, gave her a good wax job, and 14 fresh coats of varnish.
First weekend of this month we entered her in the Keels and Wheels classic car and boat show and won Best in Class. It was a wonderful experience.
Since then we've sailed her a few times, but it's about to ramp up to a few times a month.
She is currently nameless as my dad thinks a boat her size doesn't need a name and I wholeheartedly disagree. In my mind she's Little Dory or Marilee! What do you guys think? So glad this board exists as I have questions!
