Impeller for CD31 - Universal M-30

I bought Jersey Girl last summer so i will be doing my first spring commissioning this year. I asked my marina operator to pick-up two new impellers for me. After two weeks he states that he has not been able to find any. Does anyone have a source for a 1985 Universal M-30 impeller?

I believe the problem is that you are looking for an impeller for an engine that might use several different raw water pumps. You need to go take a look at your pump to see who makes it. Your best bet is to have the old impeller in your hand and compare it to the one you intend to purchase or at least a life sized chart. On some pumps you will also need a new paper gasket if it does not have an O ring so you definitely want to look at what you've got, Steve.

Johnston Pump's catalogue has an excelent chart of various impellers you should be able to match your existing impeller with one on the chart.

The physical catalog chart is in actual scale. I think when you print it out it is close in scale. Most marine stores in major boating areas should have a hard copy of the catalog.

Good luck. You don't want to be out on the water without a spare impeller.

This is the pump I am running on Raven, which has a M-20 engine. The original developed a slight leak so I purchased a new one instead of rebuilding. The original had a paper gasket and the new one came with an O ring. Some people also replace the covers on gasketed pumps with aftermarket Speed Seal covers that have knurled knobs and O rings.
