Just found the list and I want to know if anyone is selling a Dory 25 or 25D. Im in love with this boat and I need to have one now! I will be moving to the coast of Maine this summer and I just must have a sailboat. Please if anyone has alead could you e-mail me? There are a handful of 25Ds and 25s for sale on Yachtworld.com right now. As you refer to "this boat" I am compelled to point out that the 25 and the 25D are actually two very different boats, not just different auxiliary propulsion. I am not an owner of either and will defer to owners for specific comments, but note that the 25D is an Alberg design with the forward head, while the 25 is not an Alberg design and has a more traditional layout.

Dittos on the previous statement that these are two very different boats. I own a 25-D, which has a standing headroom cabin. The 25 has a cuddy cabin, that renders it very difficult to use the portapotty and get your britches back on, especially while underway. There are many other differences, but I just spent a pleasurable weekend sailing a 25 on Galveston Bay, with the foregoing exception. Both are very nice boats,but be sure you know what you are looking for and certain that the boat you get will meet your expectations.

I would also check soundsing online. That is were I got my 25CD. Good luck on the search. Maine is a great area to sail. Maybe, I'll see you out there.
