Curious question? This is the first CD30 that I have ever seen with 5 port lights, is this a custom?

Hi, all the 30k ketches had 5 bronze opening ports on either side...one of the nice features if you ask me. Gives you 2 ports in the V berth, one in the head on the port side and one above the hanging locker, and 6 in the main cabin.

Makes me want to cry. I bought mine for $4000.Just spent $12000 at the yard on the bottom, shaft and chainplates. Everything else needs attention soon but not critically. Some lucky person will buy this soon.

It must have only been in certain years that they have 5 ports. The picture in the CD directory of a 30K has only 4 ports. Just when you think that you know your Cape Dory's there is always a surprise around every corner.

Yep! My owners manual printed in 1981 only has 4 ports per side for both CD28 and CD30s.

Somebody buy this boat! I have seen Typhoons for more money. Where will you find a CD-30 for $10,000? New
(er) engine, 1995, New wiring, New cushions, New head, fully battened sails. The ketch rig is great for short hand sailing.
