Hello fellow CD owners,
has anybody flown to Jamaica with a 1-way and, picked up a boat and sailed out? The govt requires a round-trip ticket (unless you're getting on a cruise ship). If anybody has done this, any details about your documentation would be helpful to allow entry would be appreciated.
Thanks,

entry into Jamaica, sail out

Re: entry into Jamaica, sail out
As a matter of fact, I had to do the same thing to fly to the Abacos last week.
There are two ways to do it:
1. Have a copy of the "cruising permit" of the boat that you are sailing away from the island in.
2. Purchase a one-way ticket back to the US and then cancel it and get a refund when you arrive at the island or when you get back home.
We had to do option 2 because we were told in the Abacos to leave the cruising permit on the boat...had we known, we would have made a copy of it in Marsh Harbour and taken it home with us to present to the airline upon leaving Orlando.
