behind me...what can be done to get back to the old days of privacy

And I thought I was the only one with that problem! Alas, I don't think I'm going to suffer that invasion of privacy for a few more months. I'd gladly trade places with you and suffer the intrusion if I could only go sailing this weekend! I can't tell you how many times my CD27 has been "ogled" even when tied up in the slip by "marine beauty affectionatos".

I have that same problem with my Typhoon "First Lady" Isn't it great that sailors still love a pretty boat.

When I refinished my toerail, rubrail and bowsprit (yes, bowsprit) on my 27 last year with Honey Teak I attracted a crowd of people several times last summer at the dock ogling the finish.

I suppose it goes with the territory. With all the uninspired designs out there particularly in the "under 30" category, sporting aluminum toerails and little use of wood, the 27 is a standout!
