Yesterday evening's sail. 12 knots of wind, gusting to 15. Grand Traverse Bay is oriented more or less north-south, so northerly winds like this can kick up some decent waves.
(Pardon the unattractive battery...)

Re: Typhoon weather
Hi Ben,
Having just spent about a month sailing from St. Joseph to points north, stopping in Northport along the way, I know the wind and waves you speak of. Lake Michigan really is a great place, isn't it?! Where do you sail out of on Grand Traverse?
Typhoons are great little boats. Enjoy!

I'm loving the Typhoon! Especially on a day like that. We have it moored in Elmwood Township Marina, down at the base of Grand Traverse Bay.
