Lee Sails for 1978 CD25

Post by Erik Krema »

I have a 1978 CD 25 and I am starting the search for a new set of sails. Both my main and Genoa are worn out. Recently, I attended a boat show in Seattle and stopped by the Lee Sails booth and got a quote for a new main sail + one reef ($479 + tax) and a 150% Genoa ($434 + tax). The prices seemed good, but I am unsure about the quality of Lee Sails. I use my CD25 to sail the waters in and around Puget Sound all year around. I have been sailing for about two years and don't want to spend a ton of money on my boat until I'm a more proficient sailor. Any suggestions, comments? Thank you!

There are many web sites with used sails, but you need to know your measurements. I have purchased both a jib & main and have been pleased. John CD31 #18
