5/8" 3-strand; VHF; helmsman's seat. PRICES REDUCED.
250 ft. of 5/8" nylon. Great buy on serious rope! $50
Was our primary radio on current boat until we switched to one with AIS. Worked great last time I used it. $35
Nice teak custom helmsman's seat. Fits precisely as shown, in photo above, in a CD31. I am guessing it will also work well in a 32, 33 or 36, and, with some modification, smaller boats. CAT NOT INCLUDED! $50
If you are not going to come by (greater Portland ME) to inspect/purchase the item(s), I will ship them for an additional $10/item plus the actual postal/UPS charge.
Please PM me if you are interested.

I MIGHT be interested in those steps. Can you explain how they are installed? and how they work?

Re: 5/8" 3-strand; VHF; mast steps; helmsman's seat
I think you install and remove them as you ascend/descend your mast. You would have to drill holes along both sides of your mast. Similar to modular shelving units. This image may help. The yellow lines represent the port and starboard walls of your mast. The step would be inserted into the two holes and come to rest, ready for use as pictured. (I am referring to the top step in the image.)tjr818 wrote:I MIGHT be interested in those steps. Can you explain how they are installed? and how they work?
That's my story and I'm sticking to it

Well, Jim just beat me to it, while I was working on these pix! And he is correct. Thanks, Jim.
The boat came with them (we bought it used). Once we figured we were never going up there(!), I removed the steps in the off-season. While they were on the mast, they were de facto "permanent." I never played with them. They are stainless steel. Does this answer your questions?

Hi, Dean, I might be interested in the seat. Did you use it much? Could drive down from Harpswell for it, if you convince me it would save my back!

Hello, Dean,
I tried to PM you a few days ago and, not having gotten a reply, checked my User Control Panel and found the message still sitting in the outbox. So, I am still interested in the helmsman seat if you still have it.
