4th Annual Lake Champlain Float-In

The 4th Annual Lake Champlain Float-In will be held in Westport, New York at the Westport marina. As usual, there will be happy hour in the late afternoon, and this year we will be having dinner at the Normandy Beach restaurant. Watch for details in the Cape Dory Events section. We are looking forward to seeing many Cape Dory folks from the beautiful waters of Lake Champlain.

This is a great thing to do, Doug. We hope we get there in time. We're leaving from Nova Scotia around July 1 and it's a long haul, but we'll try.

If not, we'll look forward to meeting other local CD owners when we arrive.

BTW, our 31, hull # 33, was originally berthed somewhere on Champlain as a brand new boat from the factory ('84). I can't recall the name of the original owner. The present name, "Glissade," may be original. I have it in the ship's papers and I'll check it out when we return to Nova Scotia next month.

Have a great spring in this balmy weather. Hopefully, everyone will be able to get in a bit early this year.
