I'm on a flight with wifi, so forgive me for letting my mind wander aimlessly.
I read somewhere about using beanbag chairs. Wondering if anyone has tried them.

Re: Beanbag Chairs?
I keep 2 on board and never leave the dock without them. There is a relatively recent thread that had more details. I have an expensive marine one and a cheap Walmart one. I like both. The tear drop shape (marine) is really nice but it takes up a lot of room onboard. A bean bag on the bow and a wireless remote for the auto-pilot is tough to beat!

I too have recently become in tune to beanbag chairs on board. I almost bit the bullet and bought a marine one, but with the kids leaving the nest there were a couple of extras hanging around.so I thought I'd try the surplus ones we had.
On a recent 4 day trip, we had one on board - in a word, it was "awesome", "indispensable", "wonderful", "comfortable"!!". OK that was more than a word, but you get the drift. You can put them almost anywhere to make a comfortable place to park it.
