Motor Replacement

Post by Geoffrey »

I am interested in replacing the two stroke 9 hp Evinrude outboard motor on my CD 25.
I'm looking for information on a replacement motor that will fit in the lazarette and the
opening in the hull. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Geoffrey:

If you search this website you will find a lot of discussion about outboards and CD 25s.

Hopefully, this is a thread that will get you started:

Geoffrey:

Also, you may get more responses and ideas if you ask the webmaster to move your thread over to "Cape Dory General Discussion" section. You actually posted in the "Buy/Sell Cape Dory" section.
